For such configuration, the system account will be used to start CiraSync On-Prem services and CiraSync On-Prem server Admin user to access CiraSync On-Prem Admin application. Additional role based users can be added using CiraSync On-Prem Admin Security configuration.<span class=\"c-message__edited_label\" dir=\"ltr\" data-sk=\"tooltip_parent\">\u00a0(edited)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<h3><a>Adding the Service Account to the CiraSync On-Prem Server<\/a><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch <strong>Computer Management. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Expand <strong>Local Users.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select<strong> Groups<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click <strong>Administrators &gt; Add to Group. <\/strong>The Administrator Properties will open. (See figure below.) <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3241\" src=\"https:\/\/csop.cirasync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Administrator-Properties.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"359\" height=\"402\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Select User.\u00a0<\/strong> The <strong>Select <\/strong><strong>User <\/strong>window will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Add the service account that was created for CiraSync On-Prem in <strong>Enter the object names to select.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Check Names <\/strong>button &gt; <strong>OK.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Apply &gt; OK.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><a>Setting the Service Account to \u201cLog on as a Service\u201d<\/a><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the <strong>Run<\/strong> <strong>command prompt.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Input the <strong>secpol.msc <\/strong>command.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>. The Local Security Policy window will open.
